Yesterday some friends and I got together and made bows. I was lots of fun and Ali went from having 0 bows to a lot of bows (I don't know how many we made). I used to buy bows for her, but she hated them and never left them in, so I gave up. Now that she is older she wants to dress up a little more! After we put all of them in her hair at the same time and she thought it was awesome.
Lynn, the mighty hunter, is out in the cold mountains today setting up a hunting camp for next week (or something like that). He is super excited about hunting with his new guns and can't wait to get out there. I hope he has fun!
Ali slept in till 9:30 this morning after staying up late last night playing with friends. I am not sure that has ever happened before.
I have done a lot of canning this year, and everything has turned out great except the salsa I did the other day. I have made it before and fresh it is great, but after the canning process, I hated it and so did Lynn. I picked the last of my tomatoes yesterday (2 boxes full) and want to try again, but I need a new recipe. If you have any suggestions give me a call.
For those of you who look at this blog and don't live in Idaho, it is cold. Right now it is 33 degrees and we had a few snow
flurries on Thursday. This time of year is always a little hard for me. You have to say goodbye to the outdoors to some degree and remember how to play inside again. Guess it is time to get some new coloring books,
play dough, and games!
